Warranty

WARRANTY

Every bike at Coventry Bespoke Cycles is carefully prepared, inspected, and test ridden before it is offered for sale.

Nothing is rushed, and nothing is listed until it feels right.

We stand behind the bikes we sell and aim to ensure they perform exactly as they should.

WHAT’S COVERED

We provide a 12-month structural warranty on the frame and fork, alongside a 3-month warranty on mechanical components, from the date of collection or delivery.

STRUCTURAL WARRANTY (12 MONTHS)

Covers genuine structural faults that were not present, visible, or reasonably detectable at the point of sale, including:

  • Frame or fork defects affecting structural integrity
  • Material or manufacturing-related structural issues

All claims are assessed to determine whether the issue was present or reasonably detectable at the point of sale.

COMPONENTS WARRANTY (3 MONTHS)

Covers mechanical faults not related to normal wear and tear, including:

  • Drivetrain issues (gears, shifting, chain alignment)
  • Braking performance faults
  • Bearing-related issues (bottom bracket, headset, hubs)
  • Any mechanical fault preventing the bike from functioning as intended

All claims are subject to inspection to confirm the fault is not the result of normal wear and tear, misuse, or external damage.

Each bike has already been checked, adjusted, and test ridden — issues are rare.
Most bikes leave us needing nothing further, but if something isn’t right, we will put it right.

WHAT’S NOT COVERED

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (including tyres, tubes, brake pads, chains, cassettes, cables, bearings over time)
  • Damage caused by accidents, crashes, impacts, or misuse (including potholes or external force)
  • Competitive use, racing, or use outside normal intended riding conditions
  • Poor maintenance, neglect, or incorrect storage after purchase
  • Work carried out by third parties without prior agreement
  • Cosmetic imperfections consistent with a used bicycle
  • Issues arising from continued use after a fault has become apparent

CARBON FRAME & STRUCTURAL ASSURANCE

Where a bicycle features a carbon frame or component, it is inspected prior to sale to ensure structural integrity.

If there is ever any concern regarding a carbon structure, we work with trusted specialist partners to assess it properly.

Should a genuine structural issue arise within the warranty period (that was not present or reasonably detectable at the point of sale), we will resolve it appropriately.

MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

Where any original manufacturer warranty remains, this will be passed on where possible.

All manufacturer warranties remain subject to their own terms and conditions.

IF SOMETHING ISN’T RIGHT

If you experience an issue:

  1. Contact us as soon as possible
  2. We will assess the issue with you
  3. Where appropriate, we will arrange repair, adjustment, or resolution

In some cases, we may ask for the bike to be returned or inspected by one of our trusted partner workshops.

OUR APPROACH

We don’t rely on fine print or technicalities.

If something genuinely isn’t right, we deal with it properly.

Most issues, if they arise at all, are minor and easily resolved — and we aim to keep things straightforward and fair.
